The 5-Day Wilderness Experience by Soroi offers an immersive safari through Kenya’s iconic wilderness. Starting from Nairobi, you’ll fly into Samburu Reserve and settle into Soroi Larsens Camp. Over the first two days, you’ll venture out on both morning and afternoon game drives, exploring Samburu’s dramatic landscapes and wildlife unique to the north. Mid-trip, a light aircraft transfers you to the Maasai Mara, where you’ll stay at Soroi Luxury Migration Camp beside the seasonal Olare Orok River. Here, you’ll experience full game drives, possibly witness the Great Migration (if in season), and observe Big Five predators in action. Each night returns you to comfort and bush luxury, ending with a return flight back to Nairobi on day five.

Day by Day Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi – Samburu National Park

Your adventure begins at Wilson Airport, where you’ll catch a scheduled light aircraft transfer to the Samburu National Reserve. Upon arrival, you’ll be escorted to the Soroi Larsens Camp arriving in time for lunch.

As the afternoon unfolds, venture out on an exhilarating game drive, exploring Samburu’s wild beauty. Return to camp for a tranquil night under the African sky.

Dinner and overnight: Soroi Larsens Camp.

Day 2: Samburu National Park

Awaken to the serene wilderness of Samburu. A full day of exploration awaits, with morning and afternoon game drives across the rugged landscapes, unveiling the diverse wildlife unique to this region.

Dinner and overnight: Soroi Larsens Camp.

Day 3: Depart Samburu National Reserve for Masai Mara.

Bid farewell to Samburu as you take a scheduled light aircraft transfer to the Maasai Mara, landing in the embrace of the Soroi Luxury Migration Camp. Soroi Luxury Migration Camp meanders along the seasonal Olare Orok River in the Masai Mara and echoes “authentic luxury” from when you arrive.

The late afternoon promises an enchanting game drive in the heart of the Mara as the sun casts golden hues across the plains.

Feel connected to nature as you explore the wild Maasai Mara from a raised position in our custom-built, 4×4 safari vehicles. Our experienced guides will lead you to some of the most breathtaking views of the area, where you’ll experience the magic of the safari—spotting elephants, lions, and cheetahs, among other fascinating wildlife unique to the Maasai Mara. Each game drive can be shared or used exclusively, offering a unique experience, with the best sightings usually occurring early mornings or late afternoons. These drives typically last up to two hours, allowing plenty of time to enjoy the wilderness.

Day 4: Full Day Masai Mara National Reserve.

A new day dawns in the Maasai Mara, beckoning you to explore its vast expanses on game drives. Discover the Big Five and, if the season allows, witness the awe-inspiring spectacle of the Great Migration (July to October).

Dinner and Overnight: Soroi Luxury Migration Camp

Day 5: Masai Mara – Nairobi.

As the sun rises on your final day, soak in the wilderness one last time before your scheduled light aircraft transfer back to Wilson Airport in Nairobi, bringing your “Kenya Wings over the Wilderness Safari” to a gentle close.

Full board accommodation whilst on safari according to the itinerary.

Meal plan as described, B=Breakfast, L=Lunch and D=Dinner.
