Enjoy a luxurious week-long safari visiting the Ugandan highlights of Kampala, and the Kibale and Bwindi forests. During your time in the forests, embark on a number of fantastic and exciting excursions to track gorillas as well as chimpanzees.
Day 1: Kampala Serena Hotel
On arrival at Entebbe International Airport, we will welcome you and transfer you to the Kampala Serena Hotel for the night. The rest of the day is yours to enjoy, either relaxing at the guesthouse or exploring this vibrant East African city.
Day 2-3: Kibale Forest National Park
After breakfast, drive to the western region of Uganda and the town of Fort Portal for a lovely lunch. Continue after lunch to the rustic Ndali Lodge set in the beautiful Bunyaruguru Crater Field near the lush Kibale Forest. The next day you’ll head out for a guided walk in the Kibale Forest searching for birds and primates who inhabit the forest, before returning to the lodge for a delicious lunch. Head out again in the afternoon to explore the area further.
Day 4-6: Bwindi National Park
This morning you’ll travel to the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, stopping along the way to enjoy a picnic lunch before continuing to the Gorilla Resort Bwindi Camp. Enjoy the rest of the day on a nature walk in the rain forest or relaxing on the deck overlooking the Impenetrable Forest. Spend the next two days on some exciting gorilla treks to see two different gorilla families
Day 7: Kampala Serena Hotel
Head back to Kampala this morning via a picturesque drive. Relax and unwind at the Kampala Serena Hotel before the end of your trip.
Day 8: Depart
Today marks the end of your memorable Ugandan adventure. You will be transferred to Entebbe International airport in time to catch your homebound flight.
