Itinerary
Day 1: Nairobi – Aberdare
Pick up in the morning from your Nairobi hotel or airport and depart for a 4-hour drive from Nairobi to Aberdares with a brief en-route match at Nyeri’s The Ark hotel. After lunch you will be transferred to The Ark lodge, The Ark has four viewing decks with balconies and lounges to provide superb viewing of the game from the lodge’s comfort. Dinner and overnight afterwards
Day 2: Samburu
Enjoy an early breakfast at your lodge, brief en-route game, and a 4-hour drive from Aberdares to Samburu, you’ll have a stop at Nanyuki town close Mt. Kenya on Equator line. You’ll come in Samburu with a brief drive to your dinner camp and relax at the Ashnil Samburu camp. Afternoon match drive through the park, a distinctive species of wildlife residents such as the Reticulated.
As the sun begins to set we will find ourselves at the crest of Nayasura and there a blanket with drinks and biting. As we enjoy our sundowners we will continue to spot game from our vantage and watch as the baboons come back to roost on the face of the rock. A short descent will find us back in camp for a delicious dinner.
Day 3: Nyarara Camp
Depart after breakfast and head out on our trek north to Nyarara Camp to see as much game as possible. Nyarara implies Cheetah in Masai, and because of a big male seen in the region, the camp was given that name. We’re going to walk along our journey through big plains and mixed bush. On the big plains with lower numbers of Jackson’s Hartebeest and Thompson’s Gazelle, herds of Zebra, Oryx and Grant’s gazelle predominate. In the blended bush, if we are fortunate enough to see them, we discover Dikdiks, Gerenuk, Impala and Lesser Kudu. Arrive for dinner at the camp. The packing camels with our camp will have created a more direct path than us, so they will come before us.
We will follow our resting, reading or badminton routine for the energetic after lunch and later another walk in the evening to a pretty sunset spot. Dinner at the camp and overnight.
Day 4: Tumaren Ewaso Camp
After breakfast, depart for the EwasoNyiro River, which runs along the eastern edge of the Laikipia Plateau and then turns east towards the Samburu National Reserve. We’re going to be looking for Eland, Steinbuck, Giraffe, and Waterbuck, Grevy’s Zebra as well as all the hard-to-see predators like Wild Dog, Hyena, Lion, Leopard, or Cheetah along the manner. Guests can see Elephants from elevated open spots. Arrive at the EwasoNyiro and before dinner you may want to swim quickly.
Day 5: Sweet waters camp (Ol Pejeta)
After an early morning breakfast en-route for Sweet watesr a 3-hour drive arriving in time for dinner and check-in at Sweet Waters Luxury Tented Camp, Sweet water’s is the only sanctuary in Kenya to rehabilitate these commonly abused chimpanzees with two communities residing as close as possible to their natural habitat. For chimpanzees, the threatened rhino, tiger, elephant and zebra, it is a personal sanctuary of 24,000 acres. With beautiful views across the plains to Mount Kenya’s peaks, the reserve is located within the vast OlPejeta ranch. There is a variety of plains game within the reserve and it is also possible to see the big cats. The site is also a dedicated black rhino breeding area. Afternoon game drive across the Park.Later return for Dinner and overnight at Sweet waters Luxury Tented Camp.
Day 6: Sweet Waters – Lake Nakuru
Early morning breakfast en-route Sweet Water for Lake Nakuru a 5 Hrs drive where you will pass through the escarpment of the Great Rift Valley, arrive in time for dinner and check in at Sarova Lion Hill Lodge. Afternoon play drive across the Pink Lake often referred to so because it’s Great Flamingos masses not to forget the renowned white Rhino and black rhino found in this park. Dinner at Sarova Lion Hill Lodge and overnight stay.
Day 7: Lake Nakuru – Masai Mara
Breakfast early in the morning. Leave Lake Nakuru for Masai Mara a 5 Hrs drive after breakfast and you will pass through the renowned city of Narok Masai. You’ll come for dinner in time. Check in and have dinner at the Ashnil Mara or Sarova Mara Game Camp. Afternoon game drive through the park in search of the Lion, Cheetah, Elephant, Buffalo. Dinner and overnight at Ashnil Mara camp or Sarova Mara game Camp.
Day 8: Masai Mara Game Reserve
After breakfast, spend full day in the park with packed lunch in search of its famous inhabitants such as the well-known predators and their opponents such as the Zebra, Wildebeest, Giraffe, Hippo and the hazardous Crocodiles with a trip to the Mara River. Food and overnight at Camp Ashnil Mara or Game Camp Sarova Mara.
Day 9: Masai Mara – Nairobi
Early morning breakfast at your camp or lodge check out the camp and park and drive to Nairobi a 5-hour drive to lunch time. Then drop off at your respective hotel or airport around 3 pm for lunch at carnivore. (Optional for our customers with evening flights)–if you have evening flights you can do more game driving with packed lunch until around 12:00 lunch moment, After driving to Nairobi you arrive at Nairobi at about 5 to 6 pm drop off at the airport or back to your hotel.

Booking Terms And Conditions
ELIDA TOURS & SAFARIS BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR TOURS & SAFARIS
The Booking Terms:
A minimum of 40 % of the total cost of the tour has to be paid at the time of booking confirmation and the balance is payable at/or before the start of the safari.
Any tour and safari deposit paid shall be refunded less the cost of cancellation fees levied by hotels and administrative costs as follow.

Please note that refunds will be done within 30 days after cancellation of the tour/safari.
Modification of tour
If you choose to modify the arrangements after the commencement of the tour i.e. change accommodation or the duration of your stay, the company shall accept no liability for any loss or additional expense and no refunds will be made.
Rates/ Prices
Tour prices include:
– All expenses for drivers and vehicles appropriate for the itinerary as set out. i.e. for transfers, game drives, drivers allowances unless otherwise stated in the itinerary.
– Government hotel taxes, training levy and service charges, all park entry fees except where specifically indicated separately.
Tour price exclude:
– Personal insurance,
– Airport taxes, landing fees for charters and visas,
– Gratuities to drivers and porters (other than hotel service charge),
– Beverages (unless otherwise indicated),
– Laundry, other personal expenses of tour members (i.e. telephone calls etc),
– Any other tour services requested that do not appear in the itinerary.
Safari booking and accommodation.
– Our safari package are based on two persons sharing in a twin room tent.
– Single rooms are provided at an additional cost (single room supplement – (SRS).
– Hotels/lodges/tented camps are named as an indication of the category of accommodation and if the need arises may be reserved at same standard of hotel/lodges/tented camps. In the event that this happens we undertake to notify you of any changes to your safari accommodation in advance.
Liability
i. The Company is insured against legal liability arising from injuries that might be received by passengers while inside vehicles.
ii. The Company and its agents act only as agents of the passenger in all the matters relating to hotel accommodation, sightseeing, tour and transport whether by aircraft, rail, motor vehicle, boat or any matter howsoever except when the passenger is being carried in transport owned by the Company.
iii. The Company’s obligations apply to those services, which they agree to provide on your behalf. We cannot be held liable for any third party arrangements you arrange in conjunction on your own. For instance, the Company will not be held liable if you miss your tour departure because you fail to arrive at the departure point at the agreed time.
iv. The Company’s liability to passengers carried in its own vehicles is governed by the laws of the respective country in which services are provided and no other country, and all the claims are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of the respective country in which the services were provided.
v. The company reserves the right to employ subcontractors to carry out all or part of the services agreed to be supplied and in the event of such right the terms to the clause iii relating to the company’s liability shall apply
vi. Whilst every care is taken, the company cannot be held responsible for the loss or damage of baggage. It is therefore advisable to effect separate baggage insurance.
vii. In the event that a claim is made against the travel agent or the tour operator in respect of any loss or damage occasioned by the breach of contracts, negligence or other fault of the company, the Company shall be liable to indemnify the tour operator (as the case may be) in the courts of the country in which services were provided if the Tour Operator (as the case may be) had submitted jurisdiction in the said courts.
viii. In respect of any such claim mentioned in sub clause (ix) of this clause, the Company shall be under no liability expressly assumed in this clause.
ix. For the purpose of this clause, the Company shall be deemed to include its servants and agents and shall be deemed to contract on behalf of such servant and agent.
Passports and Visas
The client is required to ensure that their passport and travel documentation is in order and that they have obtained the necessary visas for their journey.
Travel Insurance
It is a condition of booking one of our tours that the traveler is adequately insured for the full duration of the tour in respect of illness, injury, death, loss of baggage and personal items, cancellation and curtailment. The choice of insurer is the sole discretion of the client.
