Itinerary Overview

This Wilderness Experience takes you to Samburu-Aberdares-Lake Nakuru-Masai Mara.

Each park has a different experiences. For instance Samburu is arid and sandy, making it a tough area for wildlife to live in. One would imagine that because it is arid Samburu would not have wildlife. This is not the case for it has a bountiful collection exists, typically of animals not found further south – the Beia oryx, Somali ostrich, Masai Ostrich, Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, gerenuk, leopard, cheetah and lion.

Shaba national park has made headlines on several occasions. The most recent one when when the TV show Survivor Africa was set there. For those who loved the show – Shaba would be a must do on their itinerary.

The Ark overlooks a floodlit waterhole and salt lick, which attracts a host of awesome wildlife. The Ark resembles and is named after Noah’s Ark. Visit and experience what The Ark has to offer.

The visit to Mara is an experience of a lifetime. The park has the largest concentration of African lions, including the black-maned lion. Birdlife is as plentiful as wildlife at the Masai Mara, which boasts over 400 different birds species. The reserve’s topography is mainly open savannah (grassland) with clusters of acacia trees along the southeastern area of the park. The Mara and Talek rivers grace the rolling plains of the reserve.
